Money That Crosses Borders as Easily as You Do

NELVOI is a financial technology company building verified accounts and cards for people whose money does not sit neatly inside one country. We have not launched yet, and this page says plainly where we are.

A company that is not launched should say so. Here is the honest state of it.

Pre-launch Accounts are not open yet

We are completing partner and regulatory arrangements. Nothing on this site claims a licence we do not hold.

$0 Monthly fee, by design

A decision made early and written into the pricing rather than the marketing: you pay once per card and nothing after.

2.5% One conversion rate

The same for every asset, stated as a fee rather than buried in the exchange rate.

When accounts open, the company and issuer details will be published here in full.

Our Mission

To make holding money in one form and spending it in another an ordinary thing to do, for people who live between countries.

That sentence hides a lot of work. Today, if your savings are in stablecoins and your rent is in euros, you are running a small treasury operation every month: an exchange, a withdrawal, a bank that asks where the money came from, and fees at each step that nobody quotes you in advance. If you have just moved countries, you are doing it without a local bank account, because the local bank wants an address you do not have yet.

Neither problem is technically hard. Both persist because the products that could solve them are built for people who stay put. We are building for the ones who do not.

The Problem We Started With

Moving money across borders is still absurdly difficult for individuals. Open a bank account in a new country and you are asked for a local address you do not have yet, a tax number you cannot get without an address, and a utility bill for a flat you have not rented. Hold your savings in stablecoins and you discover that spending them means routing through an exchange, waiting on a withdrawal, and paying twice along the way.

Meanwhile the products that promise to solve this tend to split into two camps. On one side, anonymous prepaid cards that skip verification — and get declined by half the merchants that matter, with no recourse when something goes wrong. On the other, traditional neobanks that work beautifully but treat crypto as an afterthought, if they support it at all.

NELVOI is built on the view that you should not have to choose. A properly verified account, issued through regulated partners, that treats stablecoins as a normal way to fund it.

Our Values

Four decisions taken early, written into the product rather than into the marketing. Each one costs us something, which is how you can tell we mean them.

Verification is not optional

Every account passes identity checks. It is what makes a card work at real banks and real merchants, and what lets us return your money if you lose access to your device. It also costs us the customers who wanted an anonymous card, and we accept that.

The price is the price

One flat 2.5% on top-ups, no spread hidden inside the exchange rate, no inactivity fee, no charge to close your account. A stated fee on a market rate looks worse on a comparison page than a hidden margin. We publish it anyway.

No promises we cannot keep

We do not advertise unlimited limits, guaranteed approval or availability in countries where we are not ready. Regulated card programmes have limits, and pretending otherwise only sets people up for a refusal they did not expect.

Support by people

When money is involved, a chatbot loop is not support. Written answers from people who can see your account and can escalate to someone who can act. Reply times are published on the contact page rather than left vague.

Say what is true, including when it is inconvenient

This site says we have not launched. Our articles say what the card does not do. Our pricing page lists the two costs that are not ours to charge. A company that only publishes its good news teaches you to distrust everything else it says.

Collect less, keep it shorter

We ask for what verification law requires and not the extra fields that would be useful to marketing. Analytics runs with consent denied until you say otherwise, and the choice is stored in your browser rather than in a profile about you.

How we make money

You Should Know Who Pays Us, and For What

A financial company that will not tell you where its revenue comes from is telling you something anyway. Ours comes from three places, all of them on the pricing page.

  • The card issuance fee — paid once, $9.99 or $499.99
  • The top-up fee — a flat 2.5% to convert into a spendable balance
  • Paid plans — optional, and worth it only if the cashback exceeds the monthly price

Where We Actually Are

NELVOI is pre-launch. Accounts are not open, no card has been issued, and nothing on this site should be read as a live financial service. We are building the product, completing partner and regulatory arrangements, and preparing to open market by market rather than everywhere at once.

We work through regulated partners rather than claiming licences ourselves, which is how nearly every card programme of this kind is structured: a licensed issuer holds the permissions and issues the cards, and the customer-facing company builds the product on top. NELVOI does not currently hold, and does not claim to hold, any financial licence, registration or authorisation. The issuing partner, the licences relied on, our legal entity and its registered address will be published before accounts open — the licensing page sets out exactly what will appear there and how to verify it against a public register.

What this means for you in practice: you cannot open an account today, and any site that claims to offer you a NELVOI card right now is not us. If you want to know when we open in your country, write to us and say which country — that is the list we work through first.

Questions About the Company

No, and we are careful not to imply it. NELVOI is a financial technology company. Accounts and cards are provided through regulated partner institutions that hold the relevant permissions; we build the product and the interface on top of them. Your money is not a deposit with NELVOI and is not covered by deposit insurance the way a bank balance is — the terms explain exactly how balances are held.

A small team with backgrounds in payments and engineering. We are not publishing individual names and the corporate entity while we are pre-launch, because personnel and structure can still change before we open. The legal entity, its registered address and the issuing partner will appear here and in the footer before accounts open, not after.

The registered entity and jurisdiction will be published on the licensing page when arrangements are settled. We are deliberately not naming one now, because doing so before the paperwork completes would be a claim we might have to retract — and a retracted claim about jurisdiction is worse than an empty field. Correspondence reaches us at [email protected] for general questions and [email protected] for legal and compliance matters.

We are not giving a date. Launch depends on partner and regulatory arrangements that are not entirely under our control, and a date we miss is worse than no date at all. What we can say is the order: a small number of countries first, then wider as verification and support coverage allow. Writing to us with your country puts it in the queue we prioritise by.

The card is designed to reach 180+ countries at full rollout, but launch will start with a smaller set. Coverage depends on what our issuing partner is permitted to support and on sanctions and regulatory restrictions that apply regardless of what we would prefer. The countries and limits page carries the current position and is updated as it changes.

Privately, by its founders and early backers. We are not running a token sale, we have never issued a token, and we do not have one planned. If you see a NELVOI token being offered anywhere, it is not ours — report it to [email protected] and we will act on it.

No. There is no NELVOI token, no presale, no airdrop and no staking programme. This matters to state plainly because brand impersonation in this industry usually starts with a fake token. Everything official is on nelvoi.com and nowhere else.

Partnership and business enquiries go to the business address on the contact page, and roles we are hiring for are listed on the careers page. We read everything that arrives, including speculative approaches, though during pre-launch we answer partnership questions faster than anything else.
